Bullguard is a security software that provides a wide range of features. It is different from other antivirus programs. It’s also among the few that offers an extensive selection of subscription options (up to 15 devices on certain plans) and a decent price tag.
BullGuard, unlike some other antivirus softwares, utilizes machine learning to identify threats and stop the threat before it causes serious damage. This is an amazing feature that we would like have more providers offer. The AV package also comes with various additional security tools, such as a secure browser (which makes tracking your browsing difficult for people who are snooping) and identity theft protection.
While the Anti-Virus package is a good option for those seeking basic protection, we would recommend upgrading to the Premium or Internet Security packages if you want more comprehensive protection. These packages also include additional anti-malware and anti-virus features as well as a parental control option for Android devices.
A « data leakage » tool is a different feature that makes BullGuard stand out. It will notify users when it detects data like your passwords or address being leaked on the internet. The UI is simple to use however we’d like to see more help content for those who aren’t experts in cybersecurity.
BullGuard offers 24/7 support via live chat (English only) as well as email and an FAQ section that is helpful on its website. Users can also join the forum to discuss issues with other users or with the company. The only thing missing is phone support but that’s not a big issue for the majority of users.
